Emergent Media Center / Champlain College: Producer / Cinematographer
In 2016, while I was the Project Manager at Champlain College’s Emergent Media Center, I had the good fortune to travel to Cape Town, South Africa to share our BREAKAWAY game and workshop proposal with partners at Grassroot Soccer as well as travel to El Salvador to document each trip. I was cinematographer and producer for this final submitted video. Our goal was to secure grant funding to further the partnership and begin the development of the mobile version of the game. Though we did not win the top prize from the Womanity Foundation, we did later produce the beta version of the mobile game. New updated releases are being developed by new development partners in association with the Population Media Center, who is using BREAKAWAY to aid in their workshops in Guatemala and Peru.
